Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Prospectr (“Prospectr”, “we”, “us”) — an AI-assisted sponsor-prospecting service for sports organisations (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Prospectr helps commercial teams generate ranked sponsor-prospect lists and supporting intelligence (company profiles, news, sponsorship propensity, and decision-maker contacts), shortlist prospects, and track outreach.

2. Accounts & eligibility

The Service is for business use. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity within your workspace, including that of users you invite.

3. Plans, credits & billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. List generation consumes credits per your plan; a credit is refunded if a generation fails to produce a usable list. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. AI-generated content — verify before relying

Prospect intelligence is generated by AI from public sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. It is provided for research purposes “as is”. You are responsible for independently verifying any fact, figure, or contact before relying on it — including before outreach, financial, or contractual decisions. Provenance badges indicate the basis of a claim but are not guarantees of accuracy.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
  • Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute outputs except for your own business use.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, security, or access controls.
  • Comply with the terms of any third-party source (e.g. LinkedIn) when using contact information surfaced in the Service.

6. Outreach & data-protection compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your outreach complies with applicable laws (including UK GDPR, PECR, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM). Prospectr provides tooling and information, not legal clearance to contact any individual.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service and all related IP. You retain ownership of the inputs you provide, and you may use the outputs generated for you for your legitimate business purposes.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (such as Anthropic, Stripe, and enrichment providers). We are not responsible for their availability, acts, or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including as to accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or unlawful use of information obtained through it.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may cancel at any time; on termination your right to use the Service ends.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
